Girls Run the World (GRTW) program which currently services three major
high schools in Aurora, IL. Created to esteem young ladies ages
14-18, GRTW has already proven to be a pivotal
program in the lives of participants by teaching the principles of
conflict resolution, coping skills, leadership development, and
effective communication. We aim to continue the caliber of
excellence by offering events that foster the physical well being
and celebration of program participants.
The Girls Run the World 5K will directly benefit the Girls Run the World
program and participants. We thank you in advance for helping the
young women in our community grow and succeed.

Course description:
The race course will follow the running path at Phillips Park, near Mastodon Lake.
Directions to start:
The Race will start and end at Phillips Park Aquatic Center.
Parking:
First come, first serve parking will be available at Phillips Park Aquatic Center.
Additional free parking will be located in nearby Phillips Park Lots.

"Party in the Park" will begin immediately after the conclusion of the race.
The party will consist of food and merchandise vendors, dance performers, music,
poetry, and various community resource tables.

- Race packets can be picked up onsite on race day at 08:00am.
